How We Review Casinos: What Decides Each Score in 2026
Every review on this site is built towards one question: if you win big, does the money reach you? Every review ends with a score out of 10, and this score is determined by six factors weighted towards that question.

How we score a casino review
Every review ends in a score out of 10. It's built from six parts, weighted toward the question this site exists to answer: if you win big, does the money reach you?
- 30%
Getting paid
Withdrawal limits per day, week or month, fees on cash-outs, how fast requests are sent, and when ID checks can hold money back.
- 20%
Big-win terms
Max-win clauses, whether jackpots are paid in full or in instalments, and any rule that lets the casino void a win.
- 20%
Licence and operator
Who runs the casino, which regulator licenses it, and whether the licence shows as valid on the regulator's own register.
- 10%
Who can join
The length of the blocked-countries list. A casino most readers can't use can't score high.
- 10%
Bonus fairness
Wagering, time limits, bet caps and caps on what you can keep. A big bonus with harsh rules scores below a small, clean one.
- 10%
Player protection
Deposit, loss and session limits you set yourself, cooling-off breaks and self-exclusion.
Stake.com scores 8.4, and offers no deposit bonus. 7bit scores 6.0, and offers a large deposit bonus, however, the terms and conditions state that withdrawal limits are set at 0.12 BTC per week.
What we read for every casino review
A review is just as good as what it’s built on. These are the sources, in the order we trust them.
The casino's own terms
Full Terms and Conditions, Bonus Terms, and Responsible Gambling Pages. We include the clause number in the review if the rule is important.
Its help centre
Withdrawal limits, fees, and processing times are often found in help articles. When the help center and the terms disagree, we note that in the review.
The regulator's register
The license number is checked against the Curaçao, Kahnawake, or Anjouan Register, with the date we checked it.
What the casino shows publicly
Public bet slips, jackpot meters, and winners lists are captured as a screenshot, with the date and time of the capture.
Terms can vary based on location. For example, 7Bit Casino uses a different operator and license based on location, so we note that in the review. If terms aren’t disclosed, we say “not disclosed” instead of making something up.
Other review sites, affiliate blogs, and forums are not used as sources. We never claim to have deposited, played, or tested something if we haven’t.
Why our lists use different scores
Each topic list has a separate scoring based on that one aspect, and the weights are shown on the page.
- No max win casinos: 40% for having no cap, in writing.
- High withdrawal limit casinos: limits, fees and how fast a large win gets out.
- Progressive jackpot casinos: which jackpots run, and whether they're paid in full.
- Streamer casinos: sourced streamer ties first, then the usual payout terms.
This is why Stake can rank first on a list, while missing a completely different list. Stake does not have Mega Moolah, so it is not on the Jackpot list.
How a win gets onto this site
Big numbers move quickly online, and a lot of them are fake. Every win goes through the same four checks.
- 1
Find where it started: the studio or casino announcement, a record body, the streamer's own site or channel, or the original post. A repost doesn't count.
- 2
Match the details. Amount, currency, game, date and casino have to agree across sources. When they don't, we use the original and say which source we followed.
- 3
Link the proof. Every win links to where we found it, so you can check it in one click.
- 4
Say what's unknown. If nobody outside knows whose money a streamer played, or whether a jackpot was paid in full, the page says so.
You can view the results on our biggest casino wins page, where each record is sourced. For streamers, we check their own sites and stream archives first. For example, Roshtein’s personal site reports the date, bet, and multiplier of his biggest wins.
How this site makes money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through them, the casino may pay us. That is how this site is funded.
- Scores aren't for sale. A review loses points for a weekly cap or a harsh clause whatever any deal says.
- Every visit link goes through /go/. That's our redirect to the casino, marked as sponsored.
- Buttons check your country. We look up the country of your connection so we can grey out casinos that refuse it. Our privacy policy explains how.
A tick in a country table merely indicates that the casino accepts players from that country. It does not mean online gambling is legal where you live. It is your responsibility to determine that.
Updates and corrections
Casinos change their terms and conditions without prior notice. This is how we attempt to remain up to date.
- Dates on every page. Each review and list shows when it was last updated, and the date we read each source.
- Re-reads. When we update a page, we re-read the terms behind every number on it, not just the one that changed.
- Corrections. Spotted something wrong? Email Kadri at kadri@realplayerwins.com with the page and the source. Confirmed errors get fixed and the date moves.
Who does all this is Kadri Saar. More about her is on the Kadri Saar page. More about the site is on the About Us page.
How we review FAQ
How are casino review scores calculated?
The 6 components of a review are as follows: getting paid (30% weighting), big win terms (20% weighting), licence and operator (20% weighting), who can sign up (10% weighting), bonus fairness (10% weighting), and player protection (10% weighting).
Do you play at the casinos you review?
Our reviews are composed from a casino’s published terms, help center, regulator registers and public pages. We don’t claim deposits, play or tests that we haven’t performed.
Can a casino pay for a better score?
No, some links are affiliate links, but a score will only be changed when the terms behind it change.
Why does the same casino have different scores on different pages?
Each topic list rescores casinos for that particular task, eg no max win, progressive jackpots, etc, and the weighting for that task is shown on the page. The overall review score is shown at the top of the page.
How do you check a big win is real?
We investigate where the win started, find the matching amount, game, date and casino in various sources, link proof, and state what is unknowable to everyone else.
Play it safe
Gambling is for adults only (18+, or older where local law says so). Treat every deposit as money spent on entertainment, never as a way to make money. If it stops being fun, take a break with the casino's own tools or talk to Gambling Therapy, which offers free support in many languages.
