Kadri Saar: the editor who checks every big casino win
My name is Kadri and my job is incredibly easy to say and very very time consuming to do. Essentially, when people claim big wins, it's my job to verify the win. When I review a casino, I always familiarize myself to casino's own terms to know what to expect when a big win happens there.
How I check a win before it goes on the site
Big numbers travel fast on the internet and a lot of them are false. There are steps that each big win goes through.
-
Find where it started
The steps include studio press releases, official casino press releases, video on demands (or streams) of the win or the original post of the win (usually on Reddit). Reposts do not count.
-
Match the details
Amount, currency, game, date, and casino have to be consistent across all sources. When that's not the case, the win is left out or waited to be verified.
-
Link the proof
Each win on our site is linked to where it was found, therefore you can cross check it if you want to.
-
Say what's unknown
This site has strict policies, and if the payment is not clear (whether it's a full payment or in installments) that is clear on the site.
What I won't write
Lines this site doesn't cross, whatever a casino pays.
- A win with no link to where it came from.
- "No max win" about a casino unless I can point to the clause that says so.
- A review that skips the list of countries a casino turns away.
- Bonus maths that leaves out the wagering, the time limit or the cap on winnings.
- Claims that I deposited, played or tested something I didn't.
Play it safe
Gambling is for adults only (18+, or older where local law says so). Treat every deposit as money spent on entertainment, never as a way to make money. If it stops being fun, take a break with the casino's own tools or talk to Gambling Therapy, which offers free support in many languages.
