What this site knows about you, which is very little, and the one outside service it uses: a country lookup that greys out casinos that won't accept you.

The country lookup on casino buttons

Many casinos limit access to players from particular countries, so we don’t send you to a casino that’s going to turn you away. The pages that have the casino buttons perform checks to see what country you are connecting from.

  1. What is sent

Your browser sends a request to api.country.is. Like any web request, it contains your IP address. Nothing else is sent, not your name, page history or an identifier.

  2. What comes back

A two letter country code, like GB or CA. We ask for the country only.

  3. What we do with it

If a casino doesn’t accept your country, the button turns grey. That’s the only time the code is used.

  4. How long it's kept

The code is saved in your browser as rpw-cc, which allows us to perform the lookup only once per visit, and it is deleted when you close the tab. It’s never sent to us.

api.country.is is free and open source and runs independently from us, so we can't control what their servers log. Nothing breaks if your browser blocks the request. Buttons simply remain the same. A greyed out button, or a check mark in a country table, only tells you whether an online casino accepts players from your country. It does not mean that online gambling is legal where you are located.

Other information that can be processed

Here are three examples and what happens in each.

  1. Server

Like every website, our web host's servers record standard access logs when a page loads: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. They're used to keep the site running and secure, and aren't combined with anything else.

  2. Email

If you email us, we keep your address and message to reply and to fix what you reported. We don't add you to a list or share your email.

  3. Casinos

Casino buttons go through our /go/ links to the casino's site. Once you arrive, the casino and its affiliate partner may set cookies to record that you came from us. Their own privacy policies apply from that point.

Play it safe

Gambling is for adults only (18+, or older where local law says so). Treat every deposit as money spent on entertainment, never as a way to make money. If it stops being fun, take a break with the casino's own tools or talk to Gambling Therapy, which offers free support in many languages.
