TimTheTatman's Roobet deal
When one of the biggest games streamers signed with a crypto casino, it was noticed. Here's how it all began, from esports.net.
- 2026
12 January: Roobet announces on X that Tim is joining. Neither side says what he's paid or how often he has to stream.
- 2026
First session, with 100 Thieves co-founder Nadeshot: Tim starts with about $160,000 and ends above $1.5 million. One Crazy Time spin pays more than $500,000.
- 2026
Two more sessions follow that week, over 30 hours in all. After the third, his balance is just over $1 million.
- 2026
16 to 18 September: a three-day "Roobet trip", each stream titled "$300K START" and tagged #RoobetPartner.
The deal and Roobet's partnership with 100 Thieves drew major criticism, as did this deal. Roobet also partners with Snoop Dogg and UFC fighters Charles Oliveira and Brandon Moreno.
He does something that many gambling streamers don't- the #RoobetPartner tag is in the title of his stream. Viewers can tell its a sponsored stream before even clicking the link.

Compared to his 55,465 followers on Kick, Tim has 7 million on Twitch. Most of Tim’s gaming audience looks elsewhere. At Kick, people tend to visit his channel for the casino streams. For casino streamers who cover gambling the whole time, see the top 12 gambling streamers.
Whose $300,000 is TimTheTatman playing?
His videos state, “$300K START.” They don’t indicate where the $300K came from, and neither Tim nor Roobet have publicly stated this.
- Paid, for sure: the #RoobetPartner tag makes the streams sponsored content.
- The balance: unknown. It could be his money, Roobet's, or a mix.
- Compare: Trainwreckstv labels some streams "(PERSONAL FUNDS)", and Adin Ross reportedly got a $200,000 balance from Rainbet on top of his deal.
A balance that gets topped up by someone else is a completely different game from depositing your own funds. Big swings look thrilling on a stream because the streamer loses those swings, not you.
Can you play at TimTheTatman's casino?
It depends on where you are located. Roobet’s terms state 25 restricted locations, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Netherlands.
- Licence: Curaçao, number OGL/2024/687/0427.
- Fiat deposits: a 1% fee on deposits in regular currency.
Since Tim is from the U.S., and Roobet has stated they won’t take U.S. players, people from the U.S. can’t follow him to Roobet. Our Roobet review covers all this, plus withdrawal times and costs. If Roobet is blocked for you, streamer casinos compares the other options.
